OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Why We Partner

Our organization proudly partners with other non-profits and conventions to better our local communities. Through these partnerships, we are able to provide more resources and services, while also increasing our reach and impact. Together, we are able to make a greater difference and make our community a better place.

CALIFORNIA MERMAID CONVENTION

Previously known as Mermaid Weekend in Sacramento, The California Mermaid Convention has been running for 9 years! After outgrowing many of our event spaces in 2018, we've evolved into a full Con, thanks to founders Mermaid & Mom and Pixie Tribe Entertainment. Just some of the fun events during the convention include group swims in tail, a costumed ball, panels/lectures from professional mermaids and so much more!

RECREATE

Founded in 2008, nonprofit ReCreate works with businesses and individuals in the region to divert clean usable but unwanted items.  With these items, ReCreate provides hands-on educational programs and strives to make creative expression accessible to all.

SACRAMENTO ASTEROMECH BUILDERS

The Sacramento Astromech Builders as a group came into being to allow builders in the Sacramento and surrounding areas to get together and share ideas as well as attend local events. It is my hope that we can give back to the community by sharing our creations and inspiring others to do the same.
