CAUSEplay for Hope is an all-volunteer group of costumers, cosplayers, and prop makers. We make public appearances supporting local charities, community outreach programs, and fundraisers while spreading hope and smiles.​

• Costumed Characters: Our costumed volunteers are the face of our organization. Whether costumes are handmade or bought, their goal is to inspire hope and bring smiles to our community at events. Being a costumed character is very rewarding - and seeing smiles beam from people's faces is why we do what we do. All costumes go through an approval process before being worn to an event.

• General Volunteer: General volunteers support our organization by attending events as Handlers, Event Leads and/or general event support; lend their skills in sewing, prop building, wig styling or other crafts to help maintain our Costume Closet, or provide giveaways for Fundraising efforts; and/or provide back-end support to keep CAUSEplay for Hope running smoothly. This is the best way to stay a part of the action without needing to commit to events or play a character.

• NEW! Youth Volunteer: If you are the ages between 14-17 we are starting up our Youth Program! You and your parent or chaperone can join in the fun of going to events in character or lending your skills to others. Learn alongside your fellow adult volunteers and build up your skills as a character actor or crafter.

All volunteers go through a mandatory background screening and trainings. You must be able to provide your own costumes at this time - and all costumes go through an approval process.
